That does not sound good. How many people are driving round with the washer about to fail?
Each to their own, but unless you are up for track days or are into extremely spirited road driving with hard braking at the last moment, I really cannot see the point in brake reaction bars. Drilling holes in the chassis, bars rubbing the tyres, now the risk of fastenings exploding...
Maybe they are popular because they are cheap and can be fitted as a DIY job to achieve an “upgrade”...

Nah I think your wrong Deejay. I only wished I’d had them fitted to my 4/4 when I first bought the car. I’m not into heavy braking or track days, I found they stiffened up the front end regardless of braking.
