It looks like my situation is the same as yours. Except I have the thin (6mm) rebound rubbers which replaced the thick rubbers when the springs were changed.
I'm due to see New Elms tomorrow to try to sort out some dampers which enough travel and long enough to fit at full extension. We might have to use thicker rubbers like you have.
Jackmorini, I would like to agree. Just try a thicker rubber as a rebound stop. If the resulting gap is in the region TBM has posted by Peter Ballards’ qoute, 1 cm to 1,5 cm it should be easier to find a fitting damper. In my case, this AVO type M6 of Cain is a perfect match.
