so. why would you put money down on something you. have not seen or seen any specifications on?

Alot of people like to be first in the queue and putting aside getting in some cash, think manufacturers do it to try and gauge initial production numbers required.
I suppose thats the theory. I feel it is pretty dodgy to put production expectations on an unseen item. Even Apple does not do that; it is something like “futures” in the stock market.
