I have to agree thats how MMC seem to be going... I am a little late to the Morgan world, we came from Mercedes C63, loved the engineering of those cars and their V8 engines but hated being hassled all the time by boy racers when driving.. So we purchased a 3.7 Roadster, as an ex mech engineer I enjoyed working on the areas that needed some attention with that car, but I found the rev hang annoying after a while and the clutch heavy for a ( at the time ) slightly dodgy left foot.. We visited the show rooms and purchased the Plus Six.. . Nice overall design similar to the Roadster. A good engine with plenty of grunt, improved engineering ( well most of it ), an auto box ( dodgy left foot - now fixed though) and much improved road holding.. It basically ticked all the right boxs for us and we still enjoy the car...

However..Since our purchase of the Plus Six it does feel like the MMC have changed direction, I look at the various options now available and just do not like what I see very much.. the redesign of the interior dash started it for me for the Plus Four and Six, followed by the front end of this years MY Plus Four and now they have made the last Plus Six " fluffy". I honestly want the company to succeed and hope the next model works out.. but somehow I doubt we will purchase another MMC product.. I just dont feel connected with them any more and I dont like the over exaggerated bull of the marketing. There is nothing to "get over" from where they are heading.. its just how it is..
