When the last BMW Plus 8 was sold as an expensive special series, it was emotionally moving. An entire era of automotive culture and history was coming to an end.
For me personally, these so-called “Pinnacle” models are somehow emotionally duller and staler. I actually thought the Plus Six was a super cool car from Morgan, very modern and in its genes the continuation of the fine British but still muscular car. Somehow the circumstances were unfortunate and some of the improvements to driveability were obviously comming too late. Perhaps the Plus Six would still exist if it had been allowed to be sold in the USA.
To be honest, it's very sad what's happening, and I hope it only affects this model. In my view, it's not a Pinnacle but an interrupted end.
