Ref the power in the Plus Six, for me its fine, but I do drive it like you would a very high powered motorcycle, being aware that its rear drive and no traction computer monitoring.. A few years ago I asked Henry at Williams when we purchased it if Morgan had thought of putting the Mercedes C63 AMG V8 Bi -turbo in the Plus Six chassis, ( he thought not.. ) for me that was one of the nicest engines I had driven and I just loved that V8 sound track.. I do miss that engine.. however, even the C63 needed traction control with that power ( around 460 HP ) as it was the last of the rear wheel drives.. I had a driving day at the Mercedes Brooklands track with AMG that taught owners how to drive it and what to watch out for... this came standard when you purchased the car new.. It was an absolute hoot, but also very very serious... Come the end of the day I had the C63 drifting sideways at 80 Mph around the track corners.. My wife who wanted to come out for a lap or two as passenger in the rear to " see what its like" did not enjoy it very much. I have to say the track car was Mercedes own not mine... same model though.. I asked the instructor how long the tyres lasted, he said one set per day!.
