Let's hope the Supersport does it better, but I'm not 100% sure, to put it mildly...! I think Morgans are not meant to be daily drivers, but that's my opinion after nearly 30 years of Morgan ownership. Our PlusFour was great fun during our last trip to France 3 weeks ago where we covered 3500 km. We ended with 2 tenaxes snapped off, hardly used the top, and if so, we did it the right way and with a delicately touch in the right order. My radiator was replaced before the tour on a regular service, it was a small leak and I did not experience any problems.
A brand new PlusSix which was traveling with us, experienced several problems, the pins of the hood at the rear came completely loose and stayed in the car, one "female" Tenax fiddly, and some rain ingress. It will have the windscreen replaced, a new rear hood fixing rail is ordered, but also this car gave a lot of fun. One other PlusFour more or less faultless (except some appearing and disappearing warning lights, which now is regarded as normal by the owner) and one 42 years old Plus8 without any issues........
We drove 24.000 km in two years now in our PlusFour and many more in our 4/4 over the time. They always need some attention afterwards, not always directly, mostly it went on the list of things to fix for the next year.
For everyday use, buy a Porsche, if you like them (I do like them but less as a Morgan). I experience a lot of fun of driving my Morgan(s) and the ownership and being part of the (active) Morgan community.
Next week Malvern! love drive
