Brakes I accept are one aspect, but with more power wouldn't you just arrive at that corner a bit earlier and then go round in an identical manner? (that's where the updated brakes may be involved). Didn't Aeroman say that he harried cars in the corners but they pulled away on the straights?
I think if you were looking at improving lap times, or wanted the vehicle to be quicker on the road overall, you certainly would look at tyres (and brakes as mentioned) also, but nowt wrong in wanting more power overall in my opinion? There will be a stage where it becomes ridiculous but it's far from there.
I would add, that the handling characteristics seem to be one of the upsides of the car so actually I would be very reticent to change that, unless as mentioned earlier lap times were important.
Unfortunately, I only harried some cars in the corners in the wet Boshers, it was an open-day pit and some of the drivers were a bit nervous and that's where the handling of the 3W comes to the fore.
The 3W as it comes is imho a pretty balanced package and whilst It really does not need any more power, I'm not saying I wouldn't take advantage of a tuning pack!
