NorthernMogman, Let's not start the 'its part of the character' argument again ! Especially as your opinion seems to be based on one test drive. They do handle well most of the time, but on rough roads or worse on a smooth road with an unavoidable pot hole you can suddenly be deflected by several feet in a potentially dangerous way. If an inexperienced driver had this happen they might not be able to cope with it . I have had a couple of near misses myself . If there wasn't an issue Morgan wouldn't be working on a solution . BTW, I do enjoy the car , more than any other I've owned
Ok HJP. Point taken.
In my defence, I did drive the car on twisty and relatively bumpy C roads (...down in your neck of the woods, as it happens...great Morganeering countryside). I didn't pussy foot around in the car, but I wasn't driving like I stole it either.
My 10 cents worth was really to try to keep a levelled view on these things. I am not trying to say that you, as a more experienced M3W driver you shouldn't pursue your own claims if you feel fit to do so....It was an account of my impression of the car when I drove that particular one.
I was trying to allay some of the fears...not upset people who are unhappy with their car.
