Jay, I didn't do a road test of either the first one or the second one, fool that I am, I trusted MMC to provide a car that worked, and believed that after a year of production they would have started sorting out the problems, instead they hadn't even acknowledged that there were problems.
It seems as if some of the old guard are being over protective again, and Jay, for some reason I get the feeling that you are just that. I thought we'd been there and done that, and it wasn't a good idea to repeat the performance?
Pretty naive way of buying cars imho Paul, especially as you had been so vehement about your original 3W before buying the second one.
On a separate subject I see the new lightweight Suzuki engined Caterham weighs 500kg, virtually the same as a M3W, seems to me that it's about 100kg too heavy as the Westfield FW400 weighed much less than that with a much heavier 1.8-litre engine in 1999. I would have thought some of their F1 technology would have rubbed off n'est-ce pas?
