Just noticed step 12 in the fitting instructions is greasing the spherical joint - at my recent 1000 mile service I inquired about ongoing lubrication for the new comfort kit and was told it was a closed unit not requiring any maintenance. Someones pants are on fire ..
GM and other manufacturers here have used this type of grease fitting for years on truck CV joints where standard zerk fittings will not fit.
Here's the link to Plews-Edelmann that sell all sorts of grease fittings and adapters. These are for sale on ebay for $6.25 US. I'm sure UK ebay has them as well.
