I'd have to agree with all that has been said, I believe the owners manual recommends using no less than 2750 rpm, whether running in or even later, I think that both engine and compensator are happier when it is spinning a bit.

I am sure the little beast will grow on you, as it has with the rest of us, but there will always be something to keep us moaners happy or should that be unhappy, but in fairness, we are always having fun, even when fixing the thing, well minor quibbles anyway.
