If your not upgrading the front suspension with the Empire Kit then I would recommend changing out the stock Spax's for Adjustable Spax's or the better Suplex package.
The front Suplex "gas tube shock" work really great for me over the Stock Spax's setup
(I put 500 miles on the Suplex package before adjusting the damping which then had the manufacturing defect show up)
Dan at Suplex is working on a fix for the Empire Kitted Machines where the exhaust is too close to the lower shock spring.
It will be interesting to see what the ride will be like with the Empire and Suplex packages working together? And was it worth the extra Franks?
Is a adjustable gas tube shock better, I think of Bilstein and koni's ?
The Empire Kit should be a factory option until the factory gets the Empire difference
