The fact there are now quite a few five speeders on the second-hand market appears to have depressed the values of two and three speeders, despite them having a quite different market. I'm looking at auction results and similar.

I don't really understand it since I would have thought the sort of person who wants a vintage or post vintage thoroughbred (pvt) would not have been in the market for a five speeder at all.

But, stand all this on its head, if you want a two or three speeder, now appears to be the time to buy. I've got my doubts vintage and pvt values will fall further.
