Stan sorry to see you're not having a great experience. I think the general consensus is that the M3W needs to be viewed as being more towards a motorbike and less of a car so requiring more regular attention. I can only comment that with my 4/4 it has so far proved utterly reliable with minimum of maintence required. As I think you are already discovering there is a wealth of knowledge and help from other M3W owners on here and I hope it settles down soon and you can enjoy the immense fun when driving it.
