I'm happy to say I can vouch for the '15 model, 3,000 miles in 5 weeks with only a small amount of bevel box whine and a slightly worn sprocket. Interestingly if you stuff the passenger footwell with stuff the bevel box shuts up almost completely which leads me to think that a small amount of vibration is getting through and being amplified in the un lagged footwell. Some soundproofing will sort that! I have run Harley's for years and the sprockets wear on them too. This is much heavier and wears them harder, but regular jet washing the dermot off the belt stops it grinding itself to bits. I intent to run the thing everywhere rain or shine, its tooooo much fun not to enjoy. And for the first 30,000 miles if it it breaks someone else can fix it! Shes cruised the motorways for many hundreds of miles, lapped the TT circuit, and chugged the country lanes. More fun I can't think of
