I think the 'red' leather is more of a burgundy colour, but then I'm terrible with colours.

I think the flat red on the race car in this pic is the same as the flat red available for the ARP4' (shown next to the prosecco car). There is less red chassis visible on the car than I thought there might be with the bonnet closed, so I am less concerned about a colour clash if I go with the gloss red
