The devil is in the detail. I want a fast 4, but not this one.

There should be a delete options list.
Delete lights for standard
Delete sound system
Delete exhaust tail pipe for standard
Delete domed cover for spare wheel
Delete black window surrounds - Ugh - one of my least favourite options
Delete 'Demon Tweeks' wheels for either Plus 8 alloys or wires
Delete 'Demon Tweeks' racing door mirrors for standard
Delete valance for over-riders front & rear and number plate box
Delete hessian carpets for standard
Delete alloy plating for standard leather trim
Delete red chassis for standard galvanised - black underseal doesn't care what colour it is
However - why not offer a bulkhead option in either body colour or contrasting colour - I could go for that.
I don't mind the handbrake in a conventional position, so no preference either way. If it was an option I would probably go with a fly off.
Revised soft top sounds good idea.
Engine and rear end are OK, although I'm unfussed about whether it's Cosworth or not to be honest.
So there we are. If all cars are delivered by November, there's hope that something may be offered on normal Plus 4's next year.

Agree with most of your deleted options list Dave.
I also agree that Morgan is perhaps looking to include some of the changes to standard cars.
If the suspension, brake and engine changes are well received they could be the first to become available.
Thinking back to the 4/4 1600 this was available with the standard engine or'competition' with the 1600GT. No one wanted the standard and eventually all were 1600GT engines and the 'competition' name was dropped.
It seems sensible to offer a performance option between 2 litre and 3.7 or 4.8.
