Very sorry about this Stewart. As soon as you get power and the water subsides, get a dehumidifier in the garage. You might also think about having some wooden blocks or ramps so that you can lift your Morgan a cotton into the air.
You have my sympathy. We have not had water in the house, being a long way up a hillside, but I and MissW had life threatening experiences in the Sheffield floods of 2007 which I wouldn't want to go through again!
York is usually on top of this, but the fosse pumping station has failed and they have had to open some sluices so it's not good.
