This is really one of those apples and pears arguments.
I bought my Morgan because I was seeking a vintage driving experience without any of the hassles, and on this it really delivered. I didn't suffer any of the issues that plagued Bob, and in all the car corresponded with what I had hoped it would be. It provided me with a hassle free, inexpensive and enjoyable 5 years.
The Mercedes SLC I replaced it with is probably the polar opposite of the Morgan, but then I was looking for something completely different from it. I wanted a car that would be quick, yet comfortable and practical to use 365 days a year, (rather than running the Morgan and the Mini as an everyday car). It had to be a car that

would be happy to drive, but which would be more fun than a mundane metal box on wheels. I feel this car meets the brief very well too, but I would't compare it directly to the Morgan. I like both cars, but for very different reasons.
