My M3W is now 15 months old with 7,500 miles. My bevel box sound matches Draggin's comments. Absolutely no improvement since day one.
Dan, good advice, but MMC doesn't care once they receive your money. I had a tranny leak from the rear seal caused from too much oil from the factory. There was a dealer notice issued to the dealers but my dealer never fixed the problem before delivery. It was leaking when I picked up my car. My dealer is 800 miles away so they told me to fix it and they would reimburse. About 6 months ago I had a fuel leak in my right fuel tank caused by the tank rubbing on the frame. My dealer told me to fix it and they would reimburse.
Six months ago I submitted my request for payment to my dealer and now my dealer is saying they are still waiting on reimbursement from MMC. I wrote the check for my M3W to my dealer, not the factory. I have called the factory with absolutely no returned calls.
MMC and Motorcycles of Charlotte, y'all got my money once, but you will never get another penny from me, so you can stop sending me the "buy our accessories" emails.
Future buyers beware, but my car will be for sale soon.
