I still use my local bank on a regular basis and a very friendly place it is!
With internet banking and the supposed "cashless society"; the concept is fine.
However, many people are concerned about security and also in rural areas with low speed broadband and poor, or non-existent mobile phone signals, the systems are not reliable.
As a regular visitor to Dartmouth (Susie's son and family live there), I agree with Rich on the changing nature of the town.
Sad to see locals being priced out and a decreasing choice in the shops. Also, sad to see no bank and no longer a cottage hospital.
