Absolutely true - one must not be without coffee.
For touring I use the Handpresso and the back pack stove for boiling water. Thermos is not hot enough...
Having the portable small stove and the ability to brew coffee and perhaps cook something is the good opportunity to take a break and enjoy the area in which you have temporarily stopped your adventure.
