I had my AZ jab Friday teatime. On time, no fuss, in and out. On Sat I did have a sore arm, very mild headache and some aches. I have felt worse many times on a a Sunday after playing in tough rugby the day before. Only lasted the one day and back ok the next day. Having jab1 does make me relax a bit but no way will I use it as an excuse to ignore lockdown regs. Police were in the carpark near us again today having a word with people who had driven there. One fear I have is that as groups 1-4 get jabs it will be assumed that those at lower risk can do as they please......again.
Our next ONS survey test is a month away, blood and swab. Emma, the nurse doing it is brilliant. MUCH better ar getting blood out of me painlessly than swmbo ever was! She covers the whole of South Wales though! Crazy! Some colleagues of swmbo are saying that trained retired nurses are being ignored for giving jabs whilst people like StJohn’s Amb staff and others are having training!
It is highly probable that repeat Covid vaccination will be along the lines of flu vaccinations based on further data gathered post vaccination. Annual? Longer or more often? Who knows yet.
