Secondly In the latest statistics of hospital admissions on the Fylde Coast a big retirement area with over 60% of the population over 65 the age band now forming the highest level of hospital admissions is 30 to 34years of age.....vaccination programme has not reached much below 60 years of age target audience yet we see the current infections and hospitalisation in a much lower age bracket........is this the impact of covid variants or more a reflection of life style of the hospitalised admissions.....
Or is the vaccine working for the over 65s and keeping them out of hospital?
In which case you would expect the highest level of admissions to move to a lower age range.
