Wales apparently had extra doses early on as the Barnet Formula showed a higher number of elderly/vulnerable population. Hence more falling into the more needy categories.!
I would be surprised if that actually was the case since the appointments are run centrally based on NHS data which includes your date of birth.
Anyway, Wales seems to be doing as well as the others after a rocky start. We have just received appointments for the second dose on Tuesday just 4 weeks after the first dose. For some irrational reason I am pleased - irrational because it doesnt entitle me to do anything that I am not doing now and what I am doing now has kept us clear of the disease. Arguably my second dose should go to some young person at risk but I am ot going to refuse it.
