I appreciate costs will be different here in USA versus the UK but when you take in the true costs of owning, running and maintaining an RV with the convenience of long term staying in one location (cheaper RV site fees, etc) versus short term pack up and unpack stays (higher RV site fees) then I like the flexibility of touring in the Morgan. Air BnB with Bed and Breakfasts make for some lovely stays at locations without huge costs and I don't have to clean up to move on. Eating out compared to buying food to cook myself when taking time into consideration is not that expensive and a darn site easier, plus I have the advantage of finding interesting locals, sampling local fare and meeting fascinating people. I have traveled with folks who are in their RV and still eat out to enjoy all the above and don't want to unpack too much so they don't have to get up early to pack up and move on and stay in Walmart car parks to avoid site costs, seems to defeat the object to me.
