"Everyone can charge at work?" No. But if you needed to commute to a work car park there is a reasonable chance there will be charging available. Heck I now see folks poking cables out of their office windows to their cars! Personally I dont drive to work, and at my work there are a couple of chargers to be used. And I expect chargers to continue to proliferate...

Mind you I share some of the EV sceptism (eg why the focus on private cars vs shipping, trucks, central heating etc). But remember, there is no Planet B.




I think there's some seriously muddled thinking here, sorry.
Firstly you equate the claim " everyone can charge at work" with a massively reduced claim that if you commute to a work car park. You state that at your work there are a couple of chargers. How many drive there? If it's only 20, what is their "reasonable chance" of getting the bay?

Tesla may be the highest selling car but that doesn't mean most cars have Tesla range. They are two totally different matters.

Watched Top Gear yesterday. They point out that hilly country massively affects range. He said something like... it's a bit much when you are driving a 90T pound car and the sight of a hill induces panic....
