As John V6 said, us Centre Secretaries knew this was coming but were sworn to secrecy because MSCC didn't want their (then) partners knowing about it beforehand. Insurance is much more than just about the premium, it's as much about the service you get when you make a claim. I had a major claim a few years ago and Gott & Wynn were brilliant, I couldn't fault them and they made the whole process, including transport from France back to the UK, painless. My insurance comes up for renewal next month so I'll get a comparative quote from Peter James then, they'd have to be a good bit cheaper than G&W for me to consider changing but from the sounds of it that'll be unlikely.
