I remember reading of a Morgan owner who had to put a lot of time and effort into holding on to his Morgan and having it repaired instead of allowing it to be written off as the result of what appeared to be a "system" of claims handling designed to prioritise the efficiency of the insurance business, as opposed to looking after a classic car club member and Morgan enthusiast as the brokerage had advertised..! The brokerage as best I can remember one that was club preferred and taken over by others a while back...

I have been with G&W since I bought my Morgan in 2002 and found them efficient to the extent I saw no need to shop around... The big test is ever related to making a claim, and very fortunately for me, that situation has not occurred to date, nor in all the time I have spent on Morgan related forums have I read any comments that might cause me to loose faith in G&W.

As for who how and when a club might prioritise another insurer...? I guess clubs became forced to operate as businesses in time, and business is business.. is it not..?
