My experience with getting parts from Morgan has not been great, in fact they are the last place I would ever go to I'm afraid.

My last enquiry with Pickersleigh Rd was for a 5 speed propshaft for my 4/4 5 speed conversion - ' Yes, Mr Williams that will be £350 quid plus VAT"....
A local propshaft specialist made me one up for £70.

What would I buy from there that i cant buy elsewhere cheaper? Cant think of anything! I can get service parts, wheel cylinders , clutch kits delivered by my local motor factors cheaper and quicker than the factory. Might not come in a fancy Morgan Motor Co box but it will be the same part.

There's now developed a thriving cottage industry of Morgan specialists eg JB Sports Engineering for Moss boxes and Salisbury axles. If I needed parts for either of my Moss boxes, is the factory going tool up to produce Moss gearbox parts? I don't think so.

Like wise, I've just bought a new chassis for my 1938 4-4 from GEE - absolutely fantastic service from Terry Foxen - cant imagine the factory being interested in folding up and welding a chassis for a car that old!
