I doubt MMC involvement will trigger a gouging frenzy amongst the current aftermarket suppliers (or they'd be at it already) ... and if MMC start producing former 'in-house' parts currently unavailable, then all to the good. K
The information is very fresh. The suppliers you refer to will be learning now, if they read this forum. But I am sure they will
continue to "gouge". This thing won't be fully running for some time. The time will depend on how much information they get
from us.
The MMC will NOT be producing parts. They will continue to focus on current production, a separate division. This is the best for
everyone.
In this case, Morgan-only parts will be sourced, as they always have been, from those deemed worthy. The best in the trad Morgan
community will advise. It is hoped, in some cases, that parts will be as original but better. A gusset here, a better quality of metal
there. After all, retired doesn't mean brain dead. I can remember so much from 30 years ago, just cannot remember where I put my
reading glasses.
