Going to raise the issue of a bump steer fix with my dealer today...considering that he's asking for a check!
I do think "NorthernMorgan" does have a good point about the "vintage" design of the M3W, but I think it's an issue of degree. Some people find the car undrivable beacuse of bump steer, while others just note it as a "feature". Most of this probably has to do with the quality of the local roads. If you hit the same deep pothole every time, and the wheel is jerked out of your hand every time, you start to notice.
