Sadly, even the dealers do not always have as much informtion from the factory as they would like, and something as fundamental as the suspension design would certainly be beyond the ken of even the most enthusiastic of dealers.

I do know for sure that people from the factory do read this site, they certainly appear to know who I am, so if this is a way of getting our grievances over to them, then so be it, I just wish they would be a bit more proactive and communicative.

You say that your dealer does not have as much information as the factory does but I still believe the initial responsibility belongs with them. You seem to be badly effected and thus I would be inclined to give your vehicle back to them and ask them to find a solution for you. That was the basis of my question and I am wondering why you have not chosen this course of action?
