Such a shame that hardly a day goes by without yet another potential problem to be aware of and look out for. Little by little each and every new issue, noise, squeak or rattle detracts from what should be ( perhaps that should read, "should have been" ) one of life's, " I've got it at last " moments. For me at least, after all, it took a sizeable chunk of inheritance to fritter away on, when perhaps a lesser monthly mortgage payment would have proven more rewarding. As I say, such a shame.
A shame too that such an historic and revered institution, as Morgan undoubtedly is, can treat its lifeblood, namely us, the customer, with such an uncoordinated and, "do you feel lucky ?" approach. It would seem that too many of us aren't that lucky either. To me personally, in my line of business, my customers are of paramount importance. They have choices. Were I to let them down, however inadvertently, I would rarely get a second chance.
The massively varied response to, or even awareness of, many issues from the dealer network also astounds me. It is after all a very small and select band, with many on first name terms. I am an almost total novice when it comes to forums and the like, but even I have been able to get up to speed with the many issues very quickly. And thank heavens I have, or let's just say I may well have been the next to report problems with his oil tank seal. As with other previous issues though many dealers seem "unaware of any problem sir". Perhaps they need to start joining the forum.
I must say that so far my own dealer has bent over backwards to help where needed, even if he, on occasion, has also been unaware of issues that we all know to be besetting more than just the odd one of us.
There, done now, this post has been brewing and building for several months now. As I said at the beginning, such a shame that I even needed to consider posting, when all I want to do is enjoy something that should be about little else but pure joy and not a care in the world. The odd issue of course, but the experience to date.......
