Disadvantages so far are none of my trousers fit anymore and belts have had to have more holes punched in.

Advantages, the M3W accelerates quicker and just how much would it have cost me in time and effort to decrease its weight by 15kgs.

I think cutting down on the quantity of food and alcohol is the key, for me

A bottle of red wine is nearly 800 calories...So I need to reduce carbs (including booze), eat less red meat, more salad, more fruit and more exercise.

But the real problem is travel: in a hotel I tend to eat a 3 course meal with wine, because it is there and I'm on my own, likewise a full breakfast.

When staying at home we eat modestly: rarely more than a single course although I do drink too much as the habit is a glass or three of wine watching TV. If I watched less TV and was more active I'd drink less. It is a habit, I've proved that cutting out alcohol for a weak is easy.

Watch this space.
