The axle was the same. BTR. The change was effected by moving the leaf spring centre bolt back slightly. Or possibly repositioning the axle brackets. There's no obvious reason why.It may just gave been cosmetic.
On one of my previous plus 8s, i fitted the Mulfab blocks that centered the axle with no clearance problems.
