So much of the EV push seems to involve the US but it is in China where it seems to be being adopted in greatest numbers. I wonder if there is a big tussle going on behind the scenes between the battery folk and the big oil corporations in the US, especially with the rise in shale oil/gas over there and less reliance on the Middle East?


The market in the US is also somewhat skewed due to the $649Bn subsidies spent propping up the fossil fuel industry (a.k.a Molecules of Freedom rofl)
