I’m with Howard on this one.
For me it’s still too early, I’d like one and for most journeys a full charge is more than adequate. My stumbling block is I like renting cottages or B&B in my travels around our great country. Few if any have charging points and I’m not sure many if any would be over the moon trailing an extension lead so I can charge my car, for a supplemental payment of course. Many hotels have no points.
One of you intelligent chaps might know. What happens if you do run out of charge? I believe there are issues towing an electric car. Can you get the equivalent of a “jump start” by plugging in a supplemental battery?
Oh and how long if left standing, at airport car park for instance do they hold a full charge?
