Doesn't it depend on what sort of journey you are embarking on ?
If I am doing an 800 mile day, the last thing I would want is a light fidgety, noisy car with harsh suspension and poor seats.
On the other hand if I am doing an early Sunday morning blast on some B roads light weight, responsive steering and some noise - just the job.
