I agree re the battery extras. Also from the point of view of weight. Have you ever tried to lift out an electric seat, not a one man job. I adjust mine once in a blue moon and we generally have the benefit of being rich enough to have sole (driving) use in our lucky society. One of the biggest target benefits for BEV must be weight reduction.

I notice on a number of the videos the discussion of kW/Miles or the amount of the battery watts you burn to get the car a mile down the road. Some interesting numbers from what I would consider similar priced and sized vehicles. The dual speed rear axle in the Tesla looks like it was a smart move as they have some of the most frugal numbers.
