I do question the amount of tech and toys they put in it. Why have lots of electric consuming things when they drain the battery and limit e-range?
I quite agree. It seems to me that the manufacturers are dominated by ICE thinking and feel they have to make their EVs as indistinguishable from traditional ICE cars as possible, including loading them up with all sorts of unnecessary tech.
