This is a very interesting question. Does anyone here have experience with salt and Morgan ?

The Aero and CX chassis are essentially all aluminum with wood lining the inner face of the rear wheel arch. If they are anything like Tarka it is all covered by a thick layer of underseal.
The only point where salty water might get in is the bead between wings and body and I treat that a couple of times a year with ACF 50. The car was finished on 3 July 2013, so next year it will be 10, and has run 46,300 miles. There is NO evidence of corrosion, despite winter use.

Bottom line: in my opinion an Aero or CX chassis Morgan is no more likely to suffer corrosion than any other modern car.

Thanks for the replies... I'm still wondering if I should pick up my new Plus Four from my dealer in Stuttgart at the end of next week and drive it home to the Black Forest or if I should take a trailer. We have a lot of salt on the roads right now
