Hi Clemens, the weld to your luggage rack fixing point is exactly as I propose to do on our Plus Six.. I may have to put the weld off for a while as we have just returned from a week in Brittany with the Plus Six and now have a list of issues to be addressed with the car including another radiator water leak and coolant loss.. I hope its not the rad as this was replaced due to a leak several months ago.. Its hard to keep the faith with these cars when you experience so many issues.
