An unforecasted beauty of a day. Got out twice. First was a beautiful drive down to Bolton Abbey, with the top down and sides off and lots of smiles and waves along the way. People really do love seeing these cars! I also saw a beautiful blue trad plus4 dropping down into Burnsall as I burbled out of the village. A nice wave and thumbs up was shared.

I didn’t bother putting the sides back on when home but did pop the hood up to protect against fowl bombing runs. Later in the evening I headed back out and up a local moor. Left the hood up, which was a first for me (hood up and sides off). Not perhaps as nice as hood down sides off, but a less frenetic and windy way to go whiles still largely open to the pleasant country air.

When home I used a cloth to brush some bugs off the bonnet and managed to put a scuff in the ppf. Not bad, but wondering if there are any tips or tricks to ironing that out? In any case, glad it was the ppf and not the paint!

Pics, as ever, below.
