Not to be pedantic, but it it most assuredly does not mean only one thing. I can glean at least two meanings from it, neither of which have anything to do with electrification.
1) The next Morgan with the classic wing silhouette will not have a high powered engine.
2) The next Morgan with a high powered engine will not have the classic wing silhouette.
In either case I read nothing here that indicates electrification. On the contrary. In either case if the replacement was to be fitted with an electric engine it would certainly be a high powered electric one. The company is a small scale manufacturer and under no legal obligation to produce EV's, and the current market for two seater EV sports cars is not exactly booming.
Time will tell, but I suspect the collective anxiety here over electrification is premature.
