Well have had my 3W back since yesterday. I was right at the end of the warranty and suffered a cracked chassis. Morgan did take this very seriously and have replaced complete with new shocks. Bevel box changed also. I bought the 3W as a private buy when one year old and so far have got through three compensators, one bevel box, one rear wheel,belt and pulley, one cam belt, two silencers and a rectifier. Local dealer has been great and all of course have been replaced under warranty. This must have cost more than a small fortune and I am sure my experience has been similar to many others on here.
The biggest problem for me has not been Morgans response so much as the loss of road time. This isn't the first automotive product with lots of problems and I'm sure it won't be the last. Considering the large variance in usage of the 3W I am sure that Morgans best bet must be a extended warranty at some sensible cost to the user. A ten year free warranty is a ludicrous suggestion and is just not realistic.
I really hope Morgan and we long suffering but patient owners can achieve a long term sollution. I'm not for selling and two days back in the beast has reinforced my view that it is a flawed but equally brilliant piece of kit.
