Following a very helpful conversation with Mark Evans this morning, it would appear that the problem lies with a communication issue between the two French parties. However I have been assured that the parts are now delivered to France and have been forwarded to be sitting waiting for me at Esprit Competition (my local sub-contractor for Marcassus Sport near Toulouse). It may be that they are in the middle of moving from Aubagne to the Paul Ricard circuit at Le Castellet at present. which might explain the lack of communication.

Marcassus Sport may even have a right hand exhaust in hand, as I suspect the weld on my broken one may not last very long and I don't know how long the welders will take. The stainless steel looks rather burnt at that point, as it is just where the exhaust gasses are first slowed by the baffles, and I would not be surprised if it had become somewhat brittle, due to heat accelerated age hardening. I will actually get both sides of the exhaust to have a new spare in stock for the LHS. It will either ensure that the LHS never brakes (reverse Murphy's law) or if it does, I have a spare ready to fit.
