Mr. Shapiro, maybe it's also an indicator of the current self entitlement and immediate gratification culture we create and harvest in our modern world, particularly here in the states.
Having just gone through this whole process myself, I lost count of how many times my dealer told me prior to and after submitting my deposit, receiving my build slot and designated build week, that MMC's scheduled times are highly speculative.
My point being, with few exceptions (Draggin's build), maybe this is on the shoulders of the customer. An exercise in self management of expectations.
Unless of course, some of the US dealers are creating the idea that we would be receiving realtime updates and status checks from a company that prides itself in it's use of old school techniques.
