Let me condense the next week into a few lines. Oh the joy! Its done! We were extatic! By the time i read it they were closed for a Bank Holiday. I contacted the shipper directly, they did not have my car. Luckily a very kind soul called in a favor and had someone take a look at the factory. There sat my cars frame in one corner, body in another. I lost it totally at that point. I got the car eventually, its just about exactly how i wanted, with only a couple scars from its matathon birth,
and i am thankful. All is forgiven, but it does cross the line between quaint old world methods and just sloppy. Everyone said once I had the car id forgive the process. And I have, but it did boil a part of the enjoyment of a once-in-a-lifetime experience out of me.

Or, you're just a spoiled American baby with the need for instant gratification, lol!😂
